The Renovators are a improvisational musical and social gathering.
From 2000 to 2006 the group was recorded weekly in all its raw glory and a method of songwriting was devised. This involved cutting hours of material down into arrangements that were then further added to and worked into songs and instrumentals. During this period The Renovators issued 6 LPs on Mark Ferries Greasy Pole Records.

This selection focuses on songs and tunes primarily composed by Hamish Marr when he produced the group from 2000 to 2006.

The Renovators continue to meet and record.
